ECLIPSE ENCAUSTIC EVENTS

The Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff (Arizona, where I now live) has juried and accepted my encaustic work into their gallery. I’m excited to be a part of this vibrant and supportive art community. In addition to supporting and encouraging local artists, this organization has secured a grant to offer free art classes to veterans. This week I was privileged to begin teaching SoulCollage® to veterans. It is a unique artistic process of self-discovery accessible to anyone. A huge thank you to Rogue Gallery & Art Center of Southern Oregon for accepting three of my encaustic paintings for display (and sale) in their beautiful gallery. I retrieved them last week to bring with me on my move back Portland way. Maybe Portlanders will now get to see my work up-close and personal very soon. I certainly hope so.

First Friday in Ashland, Oregon at Bloomsbury Blends Cafe & Wine Bar was a packed house. A special thank you to them for inviting me to fill their venue with my encaustic work. I was so happy to have several friends and family attend. Thank you for your love and support. It was a fabulous evening and such a joy to share my encaustic work with the community.
